In order to resolve this error, first make certain CPA has been closed completely. You will need to make certain the DWebPro Icon is not in the system tray in the bottom right of your screen. If it is, then please Right click on it and choose Close. Once this has been done, then please Right Click on the file and choose "Run as Administrator" if you are running Windows Vista or Windows 7. If this does not allow it to run correctly and continues to provide the same error, then please close out of CPA (including closing the DWebPro icon if present) and do the following:

Go to Start --> Control Panel and choose Programs and Features if using Windows Vista or Uninstall a Program if using Windows 7.
Locate the Microsoft SQL Server entries and check which version is installed. It should be listed as Microsoft SQL Server 2005. If you see 2008 or later, then this is the cause of your trouble as CPA 2011 is not compatible with SQL Server 2008 or later. SQL server 2008 will need to be uninstalled in order for the 2005 version to be installed on to your computer. NOTE: If you have other software that requires 2008 SQL Server, then this may cause problems with it and we suggest checking with the other software vendors to see if their software makes use of that server prior to continuing.

If SQL Server 2008 or later is installed, then please do the following:

Go to Start and type the following into the search field above the Start button: "services.msc" (Without the Quotes)
On the Services window that opens, locate the SQL Server entries
Right Click on each entry that has "Started" listed in the Status Column and choose Stop for each SQL Server that is currently running. You may close this window once each SQL Server service has been stopped.
Go to Start --> Control Panel and choose “Programs and Features” if using Windows Vista, “Uninstall a Program” if using Windows 7, or “Add or Remove Programs” on Windows XP.
Uninstall any Microsoft SQL Server 2008 or later entries in the order they are shown and any MSXML 6.0 entries by highlighting an entry and choose Uninstall. Follow the prompts to remove and repeat for each SQL Server entry listed.
Locate the CPA 2011 entry and choose uninstall and follow the prompts. If you receive an error while trying to uninstall the software, then please restart your computer and try again.
 Once uninstalled, restart your computer
Once your PC has rebooted, from your Desktop, Double Click on the "Computer" Icon
Right-Click on your CD Drive, which contains the disc for CPA 2011, and choose Open
Locate the Setup.exe file on this disc, Right Click on it, and choose Run as Administrator
Follow the prompts to install the software
You should now be able to run the CPA 2011 as intended. If you continue to have any problems after this, then please try Right Clicking on the Icon you use to start CPA 2011 and choose "Run As Administrator". If this fails, then please contact us the Ask A Question or Live Chat Tabs, and we will work with you to attempt to resolve any error that you may receive.

If you already have SQL Server 2005 installed, then please continue to the steps below:

You will need to Uninstall CPA 2011 and then Reinstall it as an Administrator. To do this, please do the following:

Go to Start --> Control Panel and choose Programs and Features if using Windows Vista or Uninstall a Program if using Windows 7.
Locate the CPA 2011 entry and choose uninstall and follow the prompts. If you receive an error while trying to uninstall the software, then please restart your computer and try again.
Once the software is uninstall, then restart your computer
Once your PC has rebooted, from your Desktop, Double Click on the "Computer" Icon
Right-Click on your CD Drive, which contains the disc for CPA 2011, and choose Open
Locate the Setup.exe file on this disc, Right Click on it, and choose Run as Administrator
Follow the prompts to install the software
You should now be able to run the CPA 2011 as intended. If you continue to have any problems after this, then please try Right Clicking on the Icon you use to start CPA 2011 and choose "Run As Administrator".
